Dear Dr Van Waters :
I do hope this finds you enjoying good
health, free of colds and a bit more rested.
This last day of the month of January this
new year, certainly finds me further advanced than
a year ago this time, for which I most certainly utter
a grateful prayer.
I like my new work just fine and the "powers
that be" here are pleased with me. I have been told
they have plans for me, so started me in learning
the business from the ground up. It is most in-
teresting and who knows but that I might become
quite an expert on stocks and bonds. I realize I
have a lot of ground to cover as well as plenty
of hard work and intense concentration, but then
I will love it I know.
I have been feeling just fine, but, of course,
I would slip on the ice and give myself quite
a lump. Everything else concerning me is pro-
gressing just fine and I fervently pray it will re-
main so.
Please give my regards to Miss Kelley to whom
I have given the title "Charming and Beautiful." I
will call you soon as well as writing to let you
know my progress.
Respectfully yours,
Mary Rose Cronin
