Status: Needs Review

[July 2, 1957]

Dear Cynthis {Thomas]
It was so nice seeing you
at the dinner and believe me I never
knew you were so pretty. You looked
better than I ever saw you before. Of
course you always look good to me but
you really outdid yourself. Well when
I was on my way over I had a slight
pain in my right lung but didn't mind
it really until Wed when I gasped for
breath and had a high temp. The Dr
tried [pennicillon?] for a few days and it
didn't work so tried something else and
it did it. Im alright now but you
know Cynthia that I [wont?] be taken
into a general hosp with this [dam?]
habit and its not so good at home
when you need oxygen etc. Well {Doctor}
[OLeary?] came over and shook hands +
Miss OKeefe was so sweet + friendly
