Dr. Van Waters:

Dear Dr.
I hope I shall be able to express
myself to you.

I've told you I would love to have
a puppy, but what I didn't tell you
is how much having a dog means to me.
I've wanted a dog for the last 10 yrs.
but couldn't have one as I had no
security to offer to one.

I love them too much to offer my
friendship for a brief time, then have
to leave it.

So I've gone with one. Now I feel
I shall be in position to care
and keep it always.

Please Dr. if you can try to get me
cocker spaniel, if it's not a pure
