Dear Dr. Van Waters

Just a few lines to let you
know, that I am fine and hope you
are the same.

I've been Christmas shopping all
week with my brother and his wife
and I'm not quite done yet.
I have to wait till my brother
pays me because I ran out of money
everything is so high, that it
doesn't take long to spend the
money you sent me.

I've only got about eight more
gifts to buy.

We've had quite a bit of snow,
I think we'll have a white Christ-
mas, if it keeps snowing.
