Dear Mrs. Van Waters,

I'm very sorry not to have
answered your letter before
but I keep very busy.

We are all well and
happy. I have a cold but not
so [bad?] I'm able to be on the
go.

I'm still working at the
same place that I've been since
May 1936. I work three days
a week. they are nice people
to work for.

I hope Dr. Van Waters
had a very pleasant vacation.
I know how hard she works
and she sure needs a good
rest once in a while.
