Dear Mrs Van Waters: -

It was dear of you
to send the card, very thoughtful
when you must have been busy
visiting and being entertained.
I did see you from a distance
Monday but didn't have a chance
to get near you, you were that

I am to go on night
duty soon, so my days won't
