Dear Mrs. Van Waters:

Words fail me. received
a note last night from Miss Manthorne
that you had made a deposit for me.
I now have a very definate idea of how
the men felt when they discovered gold
out West. I positisely feel wealthy again.

I started to write this. this
very early P.M. but couldn't finish it then.
I am so elated. Miss Kelly called me this
afternoon to sign my papers I am to go
home to mother's in Brookline. I have been
here just a year to-day and you have played
no little part in making my stay here pleasant. my
