to think I do not appreciate their kindness, it was very generous of you to remember me at all after twenty one years since I left the R.F.W some people are kind and thoughtful perhaps they are born that way; your brother and his wife have been very kind to me also other members of your staff. Anne Gladding, Miss Van [Wagners?], Mary [Martine?] and others all kind and thoughtful of an old woman who was not very brilliant at best and is hard of hearing and eyes failing now. I pray that God may spare you all my afflictions. There is not much I can do these days

Mother's Club

Sunday A.M.

My Dear Doctor Van Waters:

I received your note and I am glad to say an executive meeting was held on the same evening.

Miss Mason and Miss [Roks?] were present. I really think my mothers will understand why we shouldn't give our babies cookies and candies.

I hope to bring It before them on Thursday at club meeting.

I should also like to thank you at this time for the many privileges you have extended to us.

I sincerely hope to see you on Tuesday when I appear before the Board of Parole

Dear Dr. Van Waters:

My name is Jean Morasse, and I am going to the board Oct. 11 I am going to go out on a job, that is if I get the board.

I amin quite a predicament, I have niether money, or clothes. I thought maybe if you could arrange it so Miss [Giadanno?] would give me a few things, besides my clothes I go out in, so I'd at least have work clothes + a change.

I was also told you let girls who go out borrow money, if you could arrange that so I could borrow $15.oo I'd appreciate it, and pay you back weekly. I do need
