Dr. Van Waters:
Mr. Watson Baker, Route 134, Main Street, South Dennis,
was here today. He said hiis wife befriended Bessie Thornton
and took her to their summer home at Dennis. He said Bessie
has been drunk for three days, sick, etc., and he cannot have
her there any longer. He said Bessie told hime you would always
help her. He wants her removed at once, so I told him I would
tell you about it. Miss Weinberg will be on duty tomorrow.

M. O'Keefe

Dear Miss Weinberg

Should we admit
Bessie on a voluntary
commitment, or will the Newton Social
Service lower it? M.V.W.
