righteous part of the society to attend to nothing but
matters of pure and undefiled religion. This
latter portion of Friends not wishing to have
thier holy and most devout meditations any
longer disturbed by the intersessions of the friend
of the [?] for [?] to restore to himself
the three millions of human beings which the
inactivity and silence of that society as well as all
others continued to be the cause of their
remaining [?] chattelized. I do not
learn how large a part of the members have
in this way withdrawn. I suppose something
towards half. In Rochester they have commenced
a new Mutiny under the execution of of neither Priest
deacon nor Elder. As repects your contin-
ing in [?] Longer than the present term we
we think we must leave mostly to yourself. We are
to some extent aware of the labour and fatigue of mind
you have to undergo in order to do justice to your
Patrons, pupils and yourself. You are or must
