the Middle of this week.

Tuesday A. M. I thought, yesterdays mail would
surely bring a letter from Aaron, but not
a bit of a one. This a splendid morning
On the whole guess I must give up going
East-. Mary write soon & tell all about
Mr. Madison, I must write to Deerfield
soon. We have heard nothing from there of late.

Keep up good Courage. All will be well in the
end, hope on, hope ever, Uncle seems very
confident that there can be no trouble save
the constant annoyance which the existence
of the suit must produce. Write soon
& tell me all your feelings. I saw
a new cloak pattern last night, the sleeve
was cut with the cape & I should think
would be much warmer than last winters
fashion, I had my cloak made over last winter
but it is not half as warm as my old coat
was. I have not got a hat yet, dont know
what to get. It will be a cheap one though,
I am resolved to be prudent, Dont imagine
that evil is in store [&?] tell Father to sleep
& stop thinking over the past, it cannot be
lived over. Good bye Uncle is better
Love to All. Uncle has just come over, looks
poor. your daughter & sister Susan B.
