Capsule short, 4 angular, spermous. The capsule
seems to be a wrinkled tunic without valves or
any determinate mode of opening. It adheres to
the seed.

Seed eggeshaped small end uppermost.

Caulis 4-5 pedalis, medullosus a "teres atque
rotundus"
The foliation Mr. Elliott is qualified
to describe from the specimen affored last
year. The leaves resemble at first view
those of the rose.
