February 7th

The High Point Garden Club met on
February 7th at the home of Mrs
A E Tate at 10 o clock a.m.

In the absence of the President
the Sec. Mrs Carter Dalton called the
meeting to order. Mrs O P Moffitt was
unanimously elected to preside over all
meetings during the Spring since Mrs
Whites school duties conflict with
the hours of the Garden Club meetings.

Mrs Moffitt took the chair and
called for the Roll Call to which
18 members responded. The minutes
were then read and approved. The
Treasurers report was given as 109.04
on hand Nov 10th.

The Sec read a letter from Mrs B B
Reynolds in which she called on the
club to help with the State expenses
by having a Garden tour. The Club
pledged this hearty co-operation
and Mrs Clark was asked to write to
Mrs Reynolds to that effect. It was
decided to ask Mrs White to appoint
a committee to work out the details
for the proposed tour.
