April 12th

at the next meeting

Plans for the May meeting were discussed and it was decided to ask the Pilgrimage Committee to plan a tour to take the place of the regular meeting

Club members were asked to donate flowers for the dinner to be given State officers on Wednesday April 20th. Those having small flowers were asked to send them to Mrs W C Jones to be used in corsages for guests.

Mrs S H Tomlinson who has had charge of the sale of the book on NC Flora stated that the state finance committee would meet on the 13th to decide what can be done to keep from dropping the book at this stage. All expressed regret that the State finances were so much involved by bank failures all over the State. A motion was made to ask the H P Garden Club Council to arrange for a tour and to donate the proceeds to the State finances. Mrs. Tomlinson stated that she has 200 orders for the book. She has $587.00 in the closed Commercial Bank
