seemed most interested. Mrs Elwood Cox
stated that she had tested the method and
that it was most satisfactory.

The program chairman Mrs W C Idol
announced that the Year Books were not
quite ready but would be distributed
in a few days. She presented Miss
Effie Cox as the leader for the morning.

Miss Cox called attention to a
charming bowl arrangement of Phlox
Drummundae to illustrate what can be
done with Phlox.

The subject of her paper was "Spring
Gardens" and she convinced her hearers
that the next ninety days are the
most important time of all the twelve
months to the gardener.

She read a charming article from
the "American Homes" by Romaine Ware
entitled "Keeping Faith by Fall Planting
which was greatly appreciated.

Miss Cox gave many valuable
suggestions and directions and
called especial attention of the
Club to the fact that the State
