This Deed, Made this the 17 day of June 1915 by A. H. Ragan of Davidson County and State of North Carolina, party of the first part, to Bettie Corbit of Guilford County, and State of North Carolina, party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, The said party of the first part, in consideration of ($500.00) Five Hundred & No/100 Dollars to him paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part and her heirs a tract or parcel of land, in the County of Davidson and the State of North Carolina, in Thomasville Township, adjoining the lands of Robt. Grey, Dec'd, A. B. Bodenhomer and others, and bounded as follows:
Beginning at A. B. Bodenhomer's N. E. Corner; Thence North 144 feet with Grey's line to a stone; Thence Westward 300 feet to a stone on Cucumber Road; Thence Southward with said Road 180 feet to A. B. Bodenhomer's line; Thence East with said line 189 feet to the beginning, containing one acre more or less.
The above land was conveyed to grantor by Bettie Corbit, [Ad?], See Book No. [blank], Page [blank], Etc.
To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns forever.
And the said party of the first part does covenant that he is seized of said premises in fee and has the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from incumbrances; and that he will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whatsoever.

I, [blank] of said County, do hereby cartify that [blank] and his wife, [blank] grantors, personally appeared before me this day and acknowledged the execution of the foregoing deed of conveyance and the said [blank] being by me privately examined, separate and apart from her said husband, touching her voluntary execution of the same, doth state that she signed the same freely and voluntarily, without fear or compulsion of her said husband, or any other person, and that she doth still voluntarily assent thereto. Let the said deed and this certificate be registered.
