NORTH CAROLINA GUILFORD COUNTY

This Deed, made this the 30th day of October 1933, by R.F. Jones, trustee, party of the first part, to Alberta Corbit Snider, party of the second part, both of Guilford County, North Carolina,

Witnesseth, that whereas G.E. Thayer and wife, Georgia Thayer executed and delivered to R.F. Jones, trustee, a deed of trust, bearing date of May 8th 1923, which deed of trust is recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Guilford North Carolina, in Book 401 page 281, and whereas default having been made in the payment of the debt secured thereby, the last payment on the notes being made on March 10th 1930, and demand having been made on the said trustee to foreclose on account of said default, and whereas after due advertisement as required by law and as stipulated in said deed of trust, a sale at public auction, to the highest bidder was has at the Court-House Door in Greensboro, N.C. at two o'clock P.M., on October 6th 1933, at which sale the lands described in said deed of trust were offered and at said sale the said Alberta Corbit Snider became the last and highest bidder for the price of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars, and whereas more then ten days have expired since said sale and more increased bid has been filed, and the said purchaser has paid the purchase price for said lands.

Now Therefore, the said party of the first part, in consideration of the premises, and in consideration of the said sum of $250.00 paid to him by the said party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge, has bargained and sold and does by these presents bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part and her heirs all of the following descibed tract or lots of land, situated in Jamestown township, Guilford County, N.C.:

Being Lots Nos.Twenty Two (22) and Twenty Three (23), as per what is known and recorded as the Map or Plot of "Grimes and Clark Sub-Division of the E.S. Wilson Place", which Map is recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Guilford County, N.C. in Plat Book No.5 page 338. Each of said lots face 50 feet on what is known as Kivett or Freeman's Mill Road. See said plat for more accurate description.

To have and to hold said premises and all appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns forever in as full and ample a manner as the said R.F. Jones, trustee, as aforesaid is empowered to convey the same.
