Left 1 P.M. - 13 miles to Shirley Hwy. Got Gulf gas - oil pressure lowering at high speed but not as bad as before. By the time I had gone 10 miles from Emporia Janie smelling hot. Radiator boiling. Colored boy flushed rad. one plug cap not on tight. Nut off generator bolt (not lost) & fan belt not working! Lost an hour, but got it fixed. Gulf gas didn't feed regularly so I'll use Esso as always. Reached M. B. by 3 PM - 456 miles from S. S. Armbrusts & Mike F. over at night.
