4448 Berkley Ave Sept - 4 - 93.

My own dear Mother, If I had realized what a rush I would be in this morn. would have written you yesterday for I have material for a chapter of much interest to you, but just consider that the less I write the more I'll have to tell. Thurs. night had letter from Charlie wishing me to select a piano for him as soon as possible, so went down town as soon as I could F. morn.; H. went out with me and we interviewed

Mr. Lyon and got catalogues with prices which I sent next day. Reached Carrie's at 11 o'clk. Had a delightful day, but I can't itemize. When I thought it 5 o'clk, inquired, twas 5:40 so I hurried home, found H. just sitting down to a lonely meal. After dinner we went to G's. He had already gone to N. D. but the rest were well and happy. Marjorie was asleep. Sister gained 9 lbs. while away, she and F. weigh the same 115 but he is the taller. While teaching Faye a time on the piano, Mr. Hale the minister called, and

soon after Mr. Griffin, so we had a very bright evening. Sat. morn. was busy at home H. came at 2 o'clk. and after lunch we went to Lincoln Park found it much improved every way, the flowers, animals and statues took our time and we took our lunch there, then went down town to store to rest and get warm for it was very chilly at the Park. Then to the Auditorium to see "America". Had a fine seat, (H. bought tickets on Mon.) 'Twas by far the finest spectacular play I have ever seen, no wonder every seat in that vast hall was filled

Yesterday morn. (Sun) heard Mr. Hale on the subject of "Labor" text "My Father worketh hitherto and I work." G's family (except him, Hazel and Marjorie), were in the seat behind me. Sister went with me to Primary room where we spent an hour very profitably The Supt. is Mrs. Dickinson's Sister, she is certainly in the right place. At 3 1/2 o'clk went to G's and staid till 9. It is good to be there. Today is New York State and Labor Day at the Fair, so as soon as breakfast was over I ran over to G's to see if Grace could go with me to the Fair

and we are to start as soon as the things from the grocery are brought. So you see I am crowding this in edgewise for I'll have little time to-morrow as I am to meet Cos. Carrie at the Convent at 10 o'clk. and see the sights with her, shall be very glad to see them with her eyes as far as possible Think I shall get on Cos. Jennie's track today Carl is in the Libby Glass Works. You hit the day but not the date of our coming, We may start Sat. perhaps not till
