My dear Hazel Arrived home ok on time Thursday night. The trip back was pretty hot & stuffy but it turned cool the next day & has been cool enough for a light coat until this morning.

I just happened to remember that Mr. Terry said that he had gotten a check from Billy on the Bank of Kingston, Kingston S.C. & I am wondering if you hadnt better write them to see if there might be a balance there.

It seems to me that Mr. Terry as "receiver" should be able to to get something out of the Mannings

on their notes given to the Shipman organ Co. If that can be done I will relieve you of that $2000.00 note at the bank.

It might be a good idea to let Mr. Julius Smith see the way that note is signed on the back & may be there might be a chance of fighting it in case nothing can be gotten from the Mannings.

Have been pretty busy since I came back as business was pretty lively which I was away.

Tell Faye that Grace was very much pleased with the box also the necklace & luncheon set I brought back. Grace thinks she will make her Xmas presents of these things.

Lots of love to you my dear sister & give my love to Marjorie & Faye & all the children.

Frank
