When Earl's telegram was read to me yesterday afternoon about 4:30 my one and only thought was to catch the first train and go to you, I could not locate Russell, finally he came home to supper and after talking it over decided I would leave this morning and be with you all day. myself.

Am so delighted Frank is coming and Faye was near enough to be with you this morning. I just know how lovely your friends were to you and you must know how sorely grieved both Daddy and I were to hear of your sorrow.

Daddy joins me in dear love to you and the children, regretting

The night of your trouble I dreamed Tillie (Russell's sister) died, I really believe it was a premonition.

Lovingly, Marylily.
