NORTH CAROLINA, GUILFORD COUNTY.

THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this 16th day of July, 1909, by and between the Ladies' Auxilliary of the Young Men's Reading Circle, of the above State and County, parties of the first part, and J. F. Williard of the above State and County, parties of the first part, and J. F. Williard of the above State and County, party of th second part, WITHNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar paid by the party of the second part to the parties of the first part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the following covenants are hereby entered into: It is agreed by the parties of the first part that they give to said party of the second part the use of their privileges in the Young Men's Reading Circle rooms in consideration of siad J. F. WIlliard acting as secretary to their Library and Reading Circle, said privileges to take the place of a salary. Said J. F. Williard hereby agrees to keep all books and furniture in good condition, and return the same to the parties of the first part intact, according to inventory. This contract to hold as long as satisfactory, yet it may be dissolved by the request of either party, upon five days notice to the other party. No furniture or fixtures are to be moved rom the rooms by party of the second part, and no books aer to be mved from the rooms by said party, except through the circulating Library system. Mr. J. F. Williard presemts to/the said Auxilliary of Young Men's Reading Circle, to help their work, two scholarships to a business cource in his college, to be given by/the said Auxilliary of Young Mens Reading Circle to worthy persons.
