LaFox Illinois Nov 25 1892

9:15 PM Dear Auntie

I've written two letters already tonight and now just a hurried line to you. Mother has just finished a longer letter to John Van Dyke and begun one to Aunt Cliss, and as she says she must also write to Uncle Brad before you. I thought to supplement hers that will come some time by a line of my own. Well "Thanks giving" has gone. We asked only Rices folks and instead of the conventional turkey and mince pie, we had oysters and raisin pie etc. To day we are having our first snow. The ground is white but not sleighing yet.

Is a daughter of the second wife, Darah Bourdman Judson, Is herself a woman of over 60 I shoudl judge with hair snow white. Is very pleasant woman I judge and meeting her at a private house it was somewhat of a visit also, She is also quite a strong spiritualist, which does seem rather strange in his daughter Has been teacher for many years. Well, Christmas is nearly here and I've done nothing toward it. Think I shall have to send for some of those pictures as you
