I've seen several cards with no Army serial number and no mention of officer status, but each has an at least 5 digit number in the upper left hand corner. Could this be the serial number? I left this one blank.
Hi Tom! We have come across cards that have serial numbers in the proper field as well as numbers in the upper left hand corner. Due to this we believe that those numbers in the upper left hand corner are not serial numbers. In cases such as this you should leave the serial number field blank, and you could make a note of the number in the upper left hand corner in the Page Notes. -MH
