Worried about C. remaining
New York, the September 15th, 1882
Dear Sisters,
Your letters I received
this afternoon. I thought you forgot
the address to N.J. I send some
goods to Fond du Lac for Sr. Regina
and Vicaria to select. Whatever we
do not wish to keep, can be sent back
to Benzigers. I got them at a very
cheap price. The [?] [?] white [?]
embroidered each $9.10 the black best. also
the white $6.00 I forgot the rest. I
bought enough of [?] for the [?]
white. The Damask is for dalmatics [?] and
the other white vestment, if we keep them
all. Sr. Regina should please [?]
one of the embroidered [?] will be made
up for St. Francis feast. If the Capuchins
remain, then we could keep that since
[?] for dalmatics. The price was
so little, therefore, I bought it. Do
not let P. see anything of it, as I do
not know what to give him. Benziger
is going to get me a good and
snuffbox, the letters[?] I hardly believe[?]
I shall write after we get to Altoona - next Monday
we shall leave here.
