Dear Mrs. Pye:

I am writing about a matter which concerns you and other residents of public housing in Atlanta.

Three bills are being proposed which will affect the Atlanta Housing Authority.

I am enclosing a copy of a clipping from the January 17 Atlanta Journal which briefly explains the three bills.

All contain good features, but I am particularly interested in a provision in Senator Johnson's bill which would place a resident of public housing on the Atlanta Housing Authority.

I believe it is vitally important that those persons most affected by the Authority's actions have some chance to direct the Authority's actions in setting policy, standards and rents.

I hope you can use your influence to see that all of these measures are supported.
