NORTH CAROLINA VOTER EDUCATION PROJECT
213½ West Main Street Durham, North Carolina 27001
July 2, 1968
Honorable Julian Bond 162 Eurahlee Street Atlanta, Georgia 30314
Dear Mr. Bond:
Thank you for accepting to speak for the North Carolina Voter Education Project's Fund Raising Dinner in North Carolina on August 10. The Dinner is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Rocky Mount and will be followed by a dance.
There is a small airport in Rocky Mount servicing only Piedmont airlines. It will probably be easier for you to fly into the Raleigh-Durham Airport and we will have someone to pick you up and make the other part of the trip by automobile. Would you like for us to make your plane reservations and send you a ticket or will you do it all on your end an let us reimburt you for your traveling expenses along with a check for the honorarium?
We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Cordially yours,
[signed] John

Dear John: Thanks for your letter. I would prefer having you purchase the ticket at you end rather than buying it myself.
Flying to Raliegh - Durham will be fine with me. Keep in touch, and I look forward to seeing you again.
Sincerely,
