Dear Mr. Kyle,

I have your letter of June 24, asking for a copy of the remarks I made in Pensacola.

I am embarrassed to say that I don't recall what remarks I made there. I had, at that point, been speaking about four times a week..in Atlanta and out of town. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night in strange hotel rooms having to look at the towels before I remembered where I was.

If you can refresh my memory, I will be glad to send you a copy of the text I used that night.
