Will you please tell me just who you think would be best for the job. I live on Spencer street across the street from where Mrs. J. C. Collins use to live, now every house over there have been sold and torn down to make way for the Vine City high school, and there are only two houses on my side which is mine and Mrs. Brown, now do you no if they the board of education will want these two. Dear Mrs. Castleberry:

Thank you for your letter.

I will contact the school board to see whether or not they intend to take more property in that area.

As to whom you should vote for for president, I just don't know what to tell you.

I think we will have to wait until after the Democratic and Republican conventions. It looks, however, as though the Republicans will nominate Richard Nixon and the Democrats will nominate Hubert Humphrey.

I think it is safe to say that Nixon is not our man. Humphrey may be, but as you know, he supports the Vietnam war policy that is hurting our country so badly.

I hope, however, that you will support Maynard Jackson, who is running against Herman Talmedge. He is a good man who deserves the support of everyone.

Sincerely,
