Mr. Julian Bond 361 Lee Street, SW Atlanta, Georgia

Dear Mr. Bond:

I guess the political wars got in the way of our plans for the Book World interview Sunday. I am sure with all the demands on your time that there are often last-minute changes.

When there appears to be a few minutes to spare, please give me a call at 522-5050, extention 259, and I will accommodate myself to your schedule.

I think the interview would take no more than 30 minutes, and possibly less. I interviewed Lester Maddox yesterday in three minutes, 14 seconds; the New York Times Magazine asked me to do a piece on the full extent of the governor's knowledge of state government.

Sincerely, Eugene Eugene Moore Editorial Associate
