Mr. Julian Bond Georgia State Legislature Atlanta, Georgia

Dear Mr. Bond:

It was with great interest that I read of your intention to speak to the WILPF in Philadelpha on Friday of this week.

One of my fellow teachers and I have the pleasant and significant responsibilty of arranging to expose our students to as many meaningful professional events in and around the Philadelphia area as we can. It is with this thought in mind and with a high degree of hope that I invite you to speak to and visit with our students prior to your speaking engagement in Philadelpha. We are positive that our students will be quite interested in hearing your views on America, on youth and on the future of our country. If you can fit us into your busy schedule we can arrange to transport you from Philadelphia to our school and back to Philadelphia again.

We have had the pleasure of making a similar request of the late Robert Kennedy, General Eisenhower, Senator Boroke and Senator Edward Kennedy. We would be more than proud and grateful if you could arrange to spend a few minutes with our children.

If you will be in Philadelphia next Monday perhaps you would visit with us then. Please feel free to call either one of us at any of the numbers that are listed on the enclosed card.

I am looking forward to meeting you and to hearing you express your views.

Sincerely, (right aligned) John J. Trama (right aligned) Co - Chairman (right aligned) Radnor "Go Series" (right aligned)
