Mr. Julian Bond Representative, District 136 162 Eurahlee Street, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30314

Dear Mr. Bond:

Upon my return from Europe I saw your letter of August 5. Your acceptance of the invitation to speak at [is this firm w/APB?] Howard in March in the Sidney Hillman Lecture Series is a source of great gratification to the Faculty and the Students of our Social Sciences Division which sponsors the yearly lecture series.

Since your legislative session is likely to last until March 14 we shall schedule the lectures for the second half of March. We will select the exact date at a time most convenient to you.

I take this opportunity to add my personal wishes to those of your many friends for a great political career on the national stage for the benefit of our country and all our people.

Cordially (right aligned)

D. George Kousoulas (right aligned) Chairman (right aligned)
