I am sorry I haven't been able to come out to do whatever I could on your behalf. I am running for re-election myself, and outside of some appearances in New York city for Paul O'Dwyer and in Iowa for Harold Hughes, am pretty much committed to college appearances and a lot of time pushing black candidacies in the South I do want to wish you success, and hope that you will be in Washington in January. People like yourself and Hughes and O'Dwyer and David Hoeh are going to have to "hold the line" for the next four years while a real movement, a national alternative is being constructed At any rate, best wishes.
