Dear Brother Bond:

November 15-17, the V.C.I.A., affilliate of S.C.L.C., will be sponsoring the first "Soul Power Conference".

This conference will be conducted for S.C.L.C. affiliates within the region; other affiliates, organizations, and individuals will be invited to participate.

We are asking you to deliver the keynote address on Saturday noon at the luncheon.

It is our sincere feeling that our black brethren, and the white brethren also, will learn much from you.

We are able to furnish your transportation and expenses; our treasury does not permit an honorarium.

Please reply as soon as possible; time and speed are of the essence. You may call collect if you wish.
