Dear Mr. Bond:

Knowing full well you personally will probably never read this letter, I am hoping thru your office that you might know how impressed I was with the speech you made at the National Democratic Convention this past August.

Knowing also that you feel you are not agewise prepared to accept a Vice Presidential or Presidential ticket in 1968, I am with great faith looking forward to seeing a change in this country in the next several years and hope that you will be a part of that change, ready perhaps at 35 to consider a high executive position in our American government.

Speaking purely as a creative writer perhaps I have not expressed my thoughts in a well organized manner, however I am very interested in what your group has to say for the change and challenge in this country.

Yes, violence and prejudice are prevalent in the United States, we to both can agree on that, however, I feel as the country grows into a more spiritual understanding of this true nature of man and his environment, those feelings will disappear with time.

Thank you very much

Thanks
