Dear Mr. Bond,

Since I have written my initial letter to you concerning information for term paper, I was pleasantly surprised to learn from Canadian relatives that you shall be receiving an honorary degree from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

My late husband was a native of that bailiwick and had graduated Dalhousie (Medical College) in 1936. Thus, that territory is somewhat as "homeground" for me. My husband took his internships in ophthalmology & otolaryngology in the Boston hospitals & ultimately migrated from Canada to New England in the process.

The Canadians, also alumni, will send me complete programme & detailed account of your being presented this accolade.

Sincerely yours,

Margaret Shlossberg

P. S. N. Y. Times article or dialogue [illegible] Mr. Roy Harris was interesting.
