Dear Mr Bond,

In the recent issue of Ebony. I read that you had attended George School and was glad to know that. I also read that a dean had been insulting about your identification with the school when going to Philadelphia. Is this true?

If not, please do something

to stop the circulation of the story. If it is true, I, as a Quaker, offer my apology to you, and am especially sorry that it should have happened at a Quaker institution.
