Dear Judge Crockett:

Please forgive me, first, for not answering your letter sooner. I am sure we could arrange such a call. A better choice, however, would be Vernon Jordan who is Director of the Voter Education Project, and I am asking him to send you some of their excellent materials on the Voting Rights Act and its effect. I am also sending you a copy of my book "Black Candidates" which I edited for the Southern Regional Council last summer.

Sincerely,

JulianBond
