Thank you for your kind letter: I am sorry to be so slow in responding to it. I am sorry I do not have the time to come to your school for a visit. I should like to suggest you arrange through your local state respresentative to visit the legislature. I will not be able to coem to Athens, but I do hope to have a chance to visit with you and your class if you can make the trip to Atlanta. Your local state representative will be ablet to help arrange the trip.

I have aslo enclosed a copy of the booklet I edited last summer, called Black Candidates. Best wishes to you and your class.
