MAY 31

1931. Stayed at home this morning. Dad, Mother & myself went to Sunday School this afternoon. Cosby came about 4 o'clock.

1932. I have been nearly sick today and haven't done hardly any work today except I embroidered some this afternoon.

1933. Sis and Mr. Slaton went over to Uncle George's a while this morning. Lin, Jess & Lawrence came today and spent the day with us. Mary & Stella came a while late this afternoon.

1934. The Missionary Society met with us today. There were 15 members present and 8 visitors besides some children. I went home with Nora Lee & Evelyn and we played croquet. Mrs. Denton isn't as well today.

1935. Uncle Brack spent the day with us & went home this afternoon. Jess spent the day with us also. Lin brought Jess but didn't spend the day. Lawrence came after Jess this afternoon. Lawrence, Jess & Sis went to Jasper a little while. He is a little better.

JUNE 1

1931. I helped Ludell pick straw-berries today. Mr. Jim and Tiny married Saturday.

1932. I am better today. I have embroidered and also sewed some today. It rained a pretty hard rain this afternoon.

1933. Sis and I house cleaned the dinning room this morning and we went to see Uncle George this afternoon. He is some better today. Lawrence came yesterday and is staying a few days with us and is painting the house.

1934. I got breakfast, finished mowing the yard, read some, helped Rex shell some seed corn, pumped some water for the cattle & horses and patched Rex a pair of socks. I wrote a letter to Mother today.

1935. I hae been nearly sick today. I cooked breakfast & helped clean up the house. Sis & I went to Lanna's this afternoon & got some straw berries. Sis called Mary & Mary said Jasper is a little better today.
