JUNE 20

1931. Mother and myself made a cake this morning. I embroidered on a dresser scarf this afternoon.

1932. I have been sick today. It has rained most all day. Mr. Hartman came a while tonight.

1933. Sis and I went to Bethleham today to the Christian Endeavor Meeting. Sis, Mr. Slaton and I went to uncle George's late this afternoon. He is some better.

1934. I ironed this morning & Sis made a cake & boiled some ham. Sis & Mr. Slaton went to cousin Chellie Littlepage's burying at Browder's this afternoon. I went over to Jim's this afternoon.

1935. Sis, Mr. Slaton & I went to town today. Sis & I spent the day with Jessie. Evelyn spent the day also. Sis & I went to Governor Ruby Laffoon's Home coming at Spring Lake this afternoon. It rained an awful hard rain tonight.

JUNE 31

1931. Cosby & myself went to Sunday School this afternoon. Erdine, Edith Earl, Cosby & myselg went to Charleston to church tonight.

1932. I am a little better today I was able to clean up the house Mrs. Conley & Raymond came this afternoon.

1933. Sis and I ironed this morning and we did some mending this afternoon.

1934. The Missionary Society met at Browder's church today. We cleaned the church in the morning & had the program in the afternoon. The men cleaned most of the cemetary today. Mildred, Elizabeth & I went to the River this afternoon. I went with Leona's folks to church at Wilson's School House tonight but it rained so hard the preacher didn't come. I wrote a letter to mother today.

1935. It rained an awful hard rain last night & today. I wrote a letter to Mother today but it rained so hard that our mail carrier didn't come send the letter.
