JUNE 28

1931. Cosby & myself went to Richland to Sunday School this morning, We went to Sunday School at Pleasant View this afternoon.

1932. Miss. Nannie, Reck and I went to the island this afternoon, we gathered some black berries and went down to the river a little while, we went to church tonight.

1933. I fixed the hem in my yellow dress and pressed it this morning. Mr. Slaton, Sis and I went to Uncle George's this afternoon. He is better. Sis and I mowed the yard late this afternoon.

1934. Mother & I ironed & I hoe'd some and mowed a little in the yard. Ocie & children came this afternoon.

1935. I cleaned up the house today. Conell, Nealie, Leona & Elizabeth & Evelyn came this afternoon. Sis is making Cornell a dress. I got a letter from mother today.

JUNE 29

1931. We washed today and worked on my dresses this afternoon. Ocie & Baby came a little while late this afternoon.

1932. Neveline Sisk, Lanna and Evelyn Slaton spent the day with us. Reck & I went to the show tonight.

1933. I washed a few pieces and helped the house work this morning. Sis finished making my dress that Mr. Slaton gave today. Sis and I went to Jim's a while this afernoon. Amelia, Sis and I went to see Lanna. She is better.

1934. Dad went to town today & I finished hoeing the water-mellons and mother mowed the yard.

1935. I cleaned up the house & Sis baked 2 cakes. Sis, Paul Cox & I went to town this afternoon. We went after Rudell & Brought her home with us & she will spend the night. Paul Cox is going to stay a week or 10 days with us.
