SEPTEMBER 30

1931. Wen't [went] to school today and wen't [went] to town this afternoon. Ernest and myself played Lotto tonight.

1932. I cleaned up the house this morning and embroidered some this afternoon. Ocie & Baby came a little while this afternoon.

1933. I cleaned up the house this morning. I went over to Jim's this afternoon. Lanna & baby were there also.

1934. Rex, Mother & I went to see Uncle Brack a little while this afternoon. Rex & I spent the day with Mother & Dad & came home this afternoon. We sure did have a good dinner today. Stella, Fletcher & Mary came a little while late this afternoon.

1935. Annie Maye washed for us again today. I got dinner and churned and cleaned up the house. I wrote a letter to Mother tonight. Leona came a little while this morning.

OCTOBER 1

1931. Went to school today and and went to see Aunt Annie this afternoon. Ernest & myself played Lotto tonight.

1932. Uncle Brack & I went to town this morning and I stopped in to see Mrs. Mann a little while.

1933. Rex & I went to church at Liberty this morning. We took a walk this afternoon.

1934. Kate washed for us today. I gathered some dried peas, got dinner & cleaned up the house this morning. I ironed some this afternoon. Sis ironed some after she came home from school. I shelled some dried peas tonight.

1935. I have ironed today, got dinner and tried to make some ripe tomatoe catsup but I don't think it will be very good. I got a letter from Mother today.
