February 21
1931. Stayed at home & studied my lesson's today. Didn't get a letter as I thought I might.
1932. Studied some this morning & read some in a book this afternoon. Mr. Conley & Mrs. Conley and Ramondy came a while tonight.
1933. Sis & I worked on my flower garden quilt some this afternoon and Sis finished making a dress. Elizabeth isn't getting along as well as we had expected.
1934. I cleaned up the house and got dinner this morning. I helped Rex sprinkle some tobacco this afternoon. Sis came home this afternoon. Earl, Basil, June & Buck James came tonight. I wrote a letter to Mother tonight.
1935. I got dinner & cleaned up the house. I got a letter from Mother today. Loyd spent the day with us. Buck James ate dinner with us also. Dr. Ross came to see Dock again today. Dock isn't any better. He is breaking out with the measles.
February 22
1931. Stayed at home & studied my lesson's in the morning. Cosby came in the after-noon.
1932. Came to town this morning & went to school. Mrs. [Corner], Mrs. Mann, Ernest & I went to the show tonight to see our "children" are there
1933. Sis and I washed this morning and we worked on my quilt some this afternoon.
1934. It has snowed a little this morning. Rex and I washed today and I dried the clothes in the house. I got dinner and supper today also. Sis isn't coming home tonight.
1935. I have been nearly sick with a cold today. Dock isn't any better. Jess, Lawrence & Ethel came a little while this afternoon. Rex & I went to the play at [Anton?] HIgh School tonight. It was the play that the Missionary Society was giving. The name of it was [???]

February 27
1931. Went to school today. Uncle Brock came to town in the wagon but I didn't go home with him. Mrs. Mann is sick tonight. 1932. Studied some today. I got a letter from B. F. Osburn today. Dad and I went to see Mr. & Mrs. Conley a little while tonight. 1933. We all went to Aunt Cora Robertson funeral & burying at Browder's this afternoon. I cooked breakfast & also dinner today. Sis came home this afternoon. 1934. I got breakfast dinner and supper today. I wrote a letter to Mother today. Leona, Elizabeth and June came a little while this afternoon. 1935. Sis went to the missionary meeting at Mrs. Merrill's today but I didn't feel well so I didn't go. My cold doesn't feel much better. Basil [?] & I played Rook this morning. Rex, Joseph, John played & I played Rook.
February 28
1931. Ernest & myself cook breakfast this morning, Mrs. Mann is some better. Came home this morning about 12 o'clock. 1932. Stayed at home all day. Cosby came this afternoon. Mr. & Mrs. Conley & Raymond came a while tonight. 1933. Sis and I washed this morning & we worked on my quilt a little this afternoon. Elizabeth came home from the hospital today. Len, Lawrence & Chesley Davis came a while this afternoon. 1934. I got breakfast, dinner and churned today. Jasper spent the day with us. Leona, Elizabeth and Carnell came this afternoon and we played Rook. Carnell & I got beat every game. Buck James came tonight. Buck, Rex, Dock and I played Rook. 1935. Kate washed for us today. I got breakfast & Sis got dinner & supper. I have been nearly sick today. Carl & Buck ate dinner with us. Sis ironed this afternoon. Dock is better. He set up a few minutes today.

SATURDAY JANUARY 23 I spent the day at Mrs. Mann's and went to see Dad this afternoon. Mother and I will spend the night with Mrs. Mann. The ground is covered in ice, Agnes is going to stay with Dad for a while.
SUNDAY JANUARY 24 The ground is still covered in ice and it is raining today. We spent the day at Mrs. Mann's and went to see Dad in the afternoon. He went up stairs to see [?] & it made his worse. Mother and I spent the night at Mrs. Mann's.

MONDAY JANUARY 25 Mother and I went to the hospital this morning. Jim Slaton came after me. Rex is sick with the flu the back water is too unstable and still rising. The ground is still covered in ice. a train came by and the back water was over the [track?]
TUESDAY JANUARY Ray Slaton, Mr. Flinn & uncle [alonzo?] ate dinner with us and helped Dock make the coin. Earl spent the night with us. The water is still rising and in our garden.
