Esteemed Cozen
A long period has Elaspsed sence I had the
pleasure of hearing from you untell a few minuts ago
was informed by a Gentleman from your part and
promised to wate a few minets for me to write a few
lines to you I was glad to hear from you and that you
ware a live and well but was sorry to hear of the Death
of my Dear old uncle and Aunt which was the first I have
heard of it or indeed from any of you for near 15 years
I should have written quite often if I had have known
that you ware a living and still remained in the same
County I do still wish to hold corispondence with
my cousins while I live if I never have the pleasure
of seeing them that is if my letters will be answered
for it would be the wish of my Dear Father if he was
alive I wish I had time to write a long letter and let
you hear from our relations hear as well as myself
As I never had the pleasure of hearing fr seeing of
any of them but yourself I assure you I have not
forgotten you, and do hope you have not forgotten me
one of your own name I must inform that I
still remain Sally MCcuddy Stayton and am so
partial to the name that I have not changed it, I still
live with My step Father and Mother as it has pleased
God to spare them as yet, I am the only Child that
lives with them the rest are all Maried and of,
my constitution has always been delicate yet through
mercy I enjoy a tollarable degree of health
