Dear Sally Somerset Conty Virg October 2nd 1837

I arrived hear yesterday about 10 oc in the morning without any accident as well as I Was when I left home found my father well as could be expected at his age and the rest of the family well, Wm you must go on Stedyly advise with your mother often she can tell you how to proceed better than you know yourself cut the weeds in the orchard and spred out the flax To rot get of a bout 1 1/2 bushells of seed to sow again I expect to start back in a bout the 20th of the month & hope to be at home by the 10th of November & is not worth while to give you a history of my trip in and there is nothing more by Love to you and the Children
