Ice Box Cookies
1 cup butter
2 cup Brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
{instruction indicating the above be "Creamed"}
3½ cup flour, into whisk
1 teasp [baking] soda, ½ teasp salt
are sifted
1 cup chopped walnuts
after mixing, mould
with hands into a long
smooth roll on flat side
cover with oil paper and
put into ice-box
