Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Peel 5 or 6 medium sized boiled
sweet potatoes. Press thru' ricer,
sweeten to taste with white or
brown sugar, add 2 or 3 Tb of
butter and a little hot cream
or milk, and beat until light.
Add a few broken pecan nuts
and raisins. Put in a buttered
baking dish, cover with
marshmellows and bake
in a moderate oven until
marshmellows are puffed
and delicately brown.
