Stuffed Peppers
6 green peppers
1 c cooked meat/chopped
1 T scraped onion
1 t salt
2 c soft bread crumbs
1 T butter or sub
Cut slice from stem end & cut
lengthwise. Remove seed. Combine
ingredients & stuff peppers. Place
in baking dish with water in
bottom. Bake 30 to 45 mins in mod
oven.

Peanut Candy
2c gran sugar
1 c sugar & 1 c syrup
3/4 c chopped nuts
1/4 t salt
Mix nuts & salt & place in oven to warm.
Cook syrup & sugar until brittle.
Stir in nuts & put in unbuttered
pan. When cool divide into squares.
