Prune Whip Spice Cake

375 degrees
Sift together: (in a large bowl)
2 1/4 cup flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 t baking powder
1 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t soda
1/4 t nutmeg
1/4 t allspice

add - 1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup prune juice
1/2 cup milk

Beat - 1 1/2 mins low speed

Add: 2 unbeaten eggs
1 t vanilla (beat about 1 1/2 mins)

Pour into greased + floured
pan.
8" rounds or sq. 25-30 mins
13"x9" 30-35 mins.
9" rounds or sq. 20-25 mins.
cool and frost with prune
frosting. Cupcakes 20-25 minutes
